Some old guy on the TV said to bleach my body clean
So I tried drinking Lysol and it made my thoughts obscene
Now that I'm thinking clearer I'm going to make the scene
So here's another song for you from my twisted dreams
I don't wanna be quarantined with you anymore
You think you are funny but you're really just a bore
Every single day with you is just another chore
So I don't wanna be quarantined with you anymore
One more online meeting and I'll probably go insane
You ate up all the cookies, there's no more beer for my brain
Every day is just the same damn day again & again
I could write a longer song but I just broke my pen
I don't wanna be quarantined with you anymore
You think you are funny but you're really just a bore
Every single day with you is just another chore
So I don't wanna be quarantined with you anymore
I found another pen so here's another verse
The dark web tells me don't prepare for the worst
So all I did was scratch your name onto a hearse
I know you'd the same for me if you had got there first
I don't wanna be quarantined with you anymore
You think you are funny but you're really just a bore
Every single day with you is just another chore
So I don't wanna be quarantined with you anymore

Under The Mask
03:30
|

The governor told me to put on a mask
I said man I thought you’d never ask
My face is not an appealing feature
The girls all told me I’m a hideous creature
Now I can roam the streets with confidence
Cause I’m covering up my countenance
Hey sweetie, let’s start a conversation
You’ll really get to use your imagination
I’m not ugly under here
I’m much better than I appear
But, baby, please don’t ask
What’s under the mask?
Now my face is covered cause I’m well aware
Of the many dangers of going bare
I could get an airborne virus load
Or you could find out that I look like a toad
I’ll keep my mask on to stay protected
From having my hideous face detected
I hope they never find a vaccine
Because my naked face is so obscene
I’m not ugly under here
I’m much better than I appear
I look like Elvis in ‘68
One night with me would be pretty great
But, baby, please don’t ask
What’s under the mask?
Every day I live in fear
That the virus will disappear
Then you’ll see me walking down the street
And you won’t get within six feet
I’m not ugly under here
I’m much better than I appear
I look like Iggy in ‘74
Writhing across your floor
But, baby, please don’t ask
What’s under the mask?

Safe Distance
02:33
|
|||
Way back when you really broke my heart
You had that technique down to an art
So now for the sake of my mental health
I plan to remain completely in stealth
Here in these pandemic times
There’s another reason to draw the line
If you get too close to me
I’m gonna call the governor, can’t you see
So now there’s reasons one and two
For me to stay away from you
And it’s as simple as it can be
Just keep a safe distance from me
Don’t know why you’re coming around again
Since you ran off with my best friend
You really put me in my place
Now I want you out of my personal space
My therapist said “don’t analyze her
Just use a stronger sanitizer,
Gloves and bleach are not enough,
You really gonna need some toxic stuff”
So now there’s reasons one and two
For me to stay away from you
And it’s as simple as it can be
Just keep a safe distance from me
If you cross my border
I’ll get a restraining order
I could list many reasons more
But I don’t want to be a bore
6 feet away is the minimum
Cuz you belong in the sanitarium
So now there’s reasons one and two
For me to stay away from you
And it’s as simple as it can be
Just keep a safe distance from me

Already Home
03:44
|
|||
Well when I wake up in the morning, I’m already home
And when I bring you a cup of coffee, you’re already home
You and me, every day, doing our jobs, earning our pay
Never leaving, our home, cuz we’re already home
Now I go to work in our basement of our home
And you go to work in the upstairs of our home
You and me, every day, doing our jobs, earning our pay
Never leaving, our home, cuz we’re already home
Now our kids go to school online in our home
So they sleep until the crack of noon in our home
They do their homework now and then, watch some TV again
Never leaving, our home, cuz they’re already home
At the end of the day I finish work in our home
You do the same, every day, still in our home
We make some dinner, crack some jokes, we’re just normal old folks
Never leaving, our home, cuz we’re already home
Yeah, it’s quarantine time here, that’s why we’re home
The bars and restaurants are closed so we stay home
Stay indoors, listen to blues, ya can’t even get a tattoo
We’re not leaving our home, cuz we’re already home
